Triangle Paws is a digital magazine providing entertaining, informative and inspiring stories about people and pets.  Serving Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill  and beyond.

Helping you create a better life for your pet.

Welcome to Triangle Paws Magazine!

Whether you are new to Triangle Paws or have followed Triangle Dog magazine over the last six years, we want to welcome you to the new format and wish you and your pets a very happy and healthy 2017!

Triangle Paws Magazine evolved from its roots of Triangle Dog Magazine founded in 2010 by Chuck and Angie Brehmer.   Chuck and Angie grew a loyal and devoted fan base with their informative articles and entertaining stories on local dogs and their owners.  However, life circumstances took them out of the area and the torch was passed in 2014 to Cathi Bert-Roussel, the current owner/publisher.

During the summer 2016, an internet domain company in another state infringed upon the Triangle Dog name.  Rather than embark on a long and expensive legal fight to get the name back to its rightful owner, Cathi turned adversity into opportunity and Triangle Dog became Triangle Paws.  But best of all, the new name provided a chance to expand beyond canines and offer more great content to pet owners of dogs, cats, rabbits and other small mammals.

We have exciting plans for 2017:  our new format will be digital-only which allows for more frequent publication beyond our quarterly issues.  This also reduces our environmental impact and increase our ability to cover current animal stories as they happen.  Triangle Paws Magazine will release a monthly edition featuring our most popular columns like Tails from the Heart and Health & Wellness.  New features include Destination Dog which explores pet-friendly vacation spots and My PAWSome Pet, stories about pets written by their guardians/owners.

As we grow Triangle Paws Magazine going forward, we want to become a community for Triangle area pet people.  That's where you come in.  If you have an idea for a story, would like to write for us or have your event or animal organization featured, please contact us.

Happy New Year and happy reading,

Cathi Bert-Roussel
